SLOW...ATUS?
Ughhh I didn't want to have to do one of these but DW is forcing my hand.
Okay, for the past couple weeks, dreamwidth has been extremely slow to load for me, especially during peak rping time (evenings, mostly). It will take forever to load comments and icons, so commenting to one thread can sometimes take me over ten minutes. Switching between journals is an effort, too, and will often freeze my browser for the time it takes to switch, which can be a few minutes, on top of then having to load the comment I'm replying to and the icon browser.
So for right now what I'm generally doing is trying not to switch between journals during times when dw loading is being an issue. I want to play with everyone and jump into new posts, but this is just a heads up that I'm going to be slow with threads for the time being. IT REALLY SUCKS and I hope this isn't a problem that lasts too much longer.

They're telling everyone that it's a problem with Verizon in the DC area (??? i'm in pennsylvania but I guess that's close enough?) and that they can't do anything about it.
I'm confused as to why if it's a Verizon problem, only one site out of the billions out there would be giving me such problems. :I

Though, if there is any way you could maybe contact Verizon and drop a line saying "hey Dreamwidth is saying that this is your problem" maybe it could help fix things :|a?
